The IBS is pleased to announce the 35th ISB will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, South Africa, during 25-30 October 2026. Set those dates in your diaries now! Please note that these dates have been changed from 18-23 October for operational reasons.
The symposium chair will be Thanyani Pandelani with co-chair Tleyane Sono.
Congratulations to them and to the South African Ballistics Organisation (SABO) which submitted an excellent proposal.

35th ISB - Special Issue of Defence Technology (DT) (Impact Factor: 5.9)
Defence Technology is pleased to announce that the journal is now accepting papers that should be presented at the 35th International Symposium on Ballistics (ISB) in October 2026. Submissions should be made at the link below. Please note that you must also submit an abstract for the symposium.

Papers submitted will be subjected to rigorous peer review and only papers of the highest quality will be accepted for publication in DT.
